Trailblogging Review

trailblogging is another webblog similar to mine, the author recently reviewed www.jamesgill.me.uk and as always, this is me returning the favour. I was very pleased with the review he gave for my blog, you can see the review here.

www.trailblogging.com generally discusses the Internet, ie blogging, advertising, inspiration and things alike. The content is good, although there seems to be masses of reviews for other blogs. The theme is different, although I do not feel it stands out and has that ‘WOW’ about it as it seems maybe a bit too simple. I feel the title of the page ‘trialblogging’ could be improved, maybe with a ‘web2.0' banner? The colours are a bit boring too, maybe the white boxes could have curves, I think that would look a bit better. I do like the way he has an image of himself, readers will remember the face and it’s a bit more personal.

Icons under each post
Ad placement on second sidebar
Bad / Could Be Improved

Remove the top ad links, they merge too much with the blog’s links
Change the title, just text based is a bit boring
Change the colour scheme, maybe change the grey to the blue
The white boxes, curved boxes would look awesome ( if that is possible)
More Entries on main page
Make the RSS button stand out more, could add a Feed counter
More content other than reviews
