Money Matters
Hi I'm new to this site and thought to ask people out there, their opinions {if any} on the world's econmic situation, the future of the dollar, the likelyhood of a recession/hyper-inflation outlook..I have been looking at several factors 1.}the dollar index which has been dangerously close to the 80 point resistance level. 2.} the overbought Chinese stock market = overheating. 3.} the growing asset bubble. 4.} the exponentional growth in money supply which is pushing up asset and stock prices etc.5.} the record level American debt and trade imbalances. etc etc.WHERE WOULD YOU PUT YOUR MONEY

Re: Money Matters
Thats the trouble - there is too much liquidity around due to the central banks over supply of money{ the printing presses are working overtime}. This has resulted in too much money chasing too few goods, hence the asset bubble. Food prices are destined to rise dramatically.

Re: Money Matters
My girlfriend and I were talking about when and if we will ever be able to buy a house. We're getting married soon. House prices have gone up in Britian due to a strong demand because there are soo many immigrants who need places to rent. Lots of new purchases of homes are actually people who buy , with the intention of letting to the growing influx of people. So surely it is not just because of the growing money supply from the printing press, that is causing house prices to rices - but is based on real fundamentals. ????

I think people have become obsessed with owning property but then again the reasons are not hard to see why. I would not buy a house at current prices in the Isle of Man ( that could well be a mistake though)

If anybody is offered any of these filling forms from home and get paid job offers (start your own business). I would recommend staying well clear. especially if they ask for fee. They are fraudulent operations.

Re: Money Matters
Interest rates are far too high for young manrried couples to buy a home. I know there is talk of higher interst rate hikes in the pipline soon - in the U.K. that is. America's are on hold for the time being and it is hard to know which way it will go i.e. up or down. There is a chance that after our inflation figures are brought down a bit (by the higher interest rates), then the Bank of England may lower rates in order to stimulate the economy again. So I would wait before buying a house. = this is not proffessional advice - just my own feelings.

I would recommend any gold or silver mining share for investment. They would appear to be the best investment in the intermediate term.

Pay all of your bills right from your cell phone! You can be already for that day, and with a little bit more money in your pocket, by signing up now! Right now get $100.00 just to open a free account, and with more perks, the V.I.P. account only $3.95per month! And then there is the merchant account, where you got it all right on your cell phone!
